Paribhadra

ABOUT

The classical Ayurveda plant Paribhadra is co-related to the genus Erythrina botanically. Paribhadra exhibits certain variations with respect to its flower color; the predominant red and occasional white or yellow (this variation existence in the wild is disputed, might be human induced mutant). However the white flowered variety is treated as an individual species and also has some individual medicinal applications. Hence the need was felt to couple these two species. However classical Ayurveda references predominantly point to red-colored Paribhadra tree.
